Lonely Desert Ride to Colorado
If Day One gives me the opportunity to get in a few extra miles, I will be starting in Springdale, Utah. If not, then so be it. I will be starting the day in Hurricane, or somewhere in between. Regardless, right after Springdale, on the Zion Mount Carmel Highway are several switchbacks that look interesting on Google Maps. After that are about five miles of nice twisties. I hope there isn't much traffic!
- Planned Utah stops include Mt. Carmel, Panguitch, Richfield, Salina and Green River.
- Since Fruita is near the state border, no Colorado stops are planned for today.
