To Turn South or Not to Turn South
I will need to make a big decision here. If I am not behind schedule and I am feeling fine and the bike is running well, I am going to head south to Louisiana. Now, if for some reason I am running behind schedule or the bike is acting wonky or I don't feel well or any other reason for that matter, I will continue on Rt. 45 into Memphis where I will just hop on Interstate 40, point the bike west and just ride. If I do go follow Interstate 40 here, it should take about two or three days less than going south. If I head south here, today's riding will be all interstate pavement.
- If I do go south, here will be some of the stops in Alabama: Muscle Shoals; Natural Bridge; Tuscaloosa; and York.
- The only planned stop in Mississippi is Meridian.
