Leaving Las Vegas
If all goes well, the bike will be packed Thursday night, ready to go to work with me on Friday. Kickstand-up will be no later than 6PM. If it just so happens that a sponsor wants to give a little send-off, well, so be it, but if I am to make it to Hurricane by 9PM, 6 is the latest. Other possible places where I could stop for the night include La Verkin, Virgin, Grafton and Rockville, UT. If I keep going, there is Springdale and Zion National Park where camping should be plentiful. Immediately after Springdale are a lot of nifty little switchbacks. There is NO WAY I want to ride that at night or when I am tired. If I make it all the way to Springdale, that will add an additional 21 miles to my ride on Day One, but equally will make Day Two 21 miles shorter. I will try.
- There will only be one planned stop in Nevada at Mesquite. Depending on conditions, I may stop at Logandale for fuel and brief rest.
- There is also only one planned stop in Utah at St. George.

How To Help
The most important way to help is to visit my Donations page and make a monetary contribution. All donations are confidential. If you give permission, your name, handle or whatever will be posted on the Supporters page.
You can also look at my Wish List page. Any trip like this requires help, and there are a few things that would realy help make this a better, more successful trip.
Gas prices are up. Food prices are up. I understand that not everyone can contribute something tangible. Whether you can or can't contribute, please sign my Guest Book.
